I’m Debashish Ranjan Das, and I have over five years of experience in international education and student counselling. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students from diverse backgrounds in their journey to study abroad. I’ve worked in several roles, including Admission Advisor and Education Consultant, which have given me hands-on experience in student recruitment, academic advising, and visa counselling.
Currently, I work as a Senior Student Counsellor at AIMS Education in Southend-on-Sea, UK. My role involves counselling students, managing their applications, and providing continuous support throughout their academic journey. I take pride in making the entire process smooth—from the first inquiry to securing admission and visa approval. What truly drives me is my passion for education and seeing students succeed.
I hold an MSc in International Business Management (with Placement) from London South Bank University in the UK. Prior to that, I completed both my MBA and BBA in Finance & Banking from Leading University, Sylhet. Over the years, I’ve developed expertise in academic counselling, visa documentation, student application management, CRM systems, relationship building, career counselling, and coordinating both online and offline campaigns. I’m organized, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable, with strong communication skills and a deep commitment to student satisfaction. Being culturally aware and globally minded helps me connect with students from all walks of life. I’ve had the opportunity to support hundreds of students, many of whom have gone on to study at top UK universities. I’m proud to have maintained a high visa success rate and to have built strong partnerships with educational institutions and stakeholders. The positive feedback I regularly receive for my clear communication and guidance keeps me motivated.
I believe in a professional yet caring approach to student counselling. My goal is to empower students to make informed decisions, choose the right academic path, and confidently pursue their dreams of studying abroad.
